My RUTX50 has been super running slow, again… when running speed test app has 1.3MBps and 12MBps up however the internal maintenance speed test shows the expected download speeds….
Factory resets, different sims, different antennas, different locations etc all of the standard stuff has no improvement.
Returned to supplier who had it for 2 months, worked for 4 weeks after reinstalling now back to the same issue.
It is my boat comms and have been told these devise’s have issues with Raymarine networks, trying to work out why the modem is performing so poorly.
So swapped unit for a Pepwave unit all the issues are fixed, I have wasted 3 months with this piece of junk and it seams like many people are having the same issue.
Save the head aches people, DONT BUY a Teltonika as they are substandard.
