Hi all,
I have a network of 8 RUT241s in one VPN hub.
I have added a 10y Monitoring pack to every router.
Can I add a 150GB data pack to one of the routers to handle all the data needs of this VPN hub?
Good afternoon,
The resources you have assigned are per router. When you assign the 150GB data pack to a specific device, that device with active data pack will have its own data pool that would take higher priority than the company data pool. For overall RMS VPN Hubs connection, the devices that do not have a data pack assigned, will be using the Company data.
There are no workaround for this, as that is the normal functionality of the app, apart from assigning all the traffic to a singular router, that has the 150GB data pack.
You can find more information on the RMS resources here : https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/What_is_the_difference_between_Credits,\_Management_packs,\_Connection_data_packs,\_and_company_data%3F
Thank you for your understanding.

Arturas
Hello Arturas,
thank you for the response.
I have 1 VPN HUB with 8 routers. All routers have a Management Pack assigned.
I will have 7 PCs communication (VNC protocol) via this VPN hub to the other 7 routers.
Can I assign a Connection Data Pack to one of the routers ( the main router) so that the compete VPN traffic data is covered by this pack?
Regards,
Ernesto
Hi there,
As explained above, different devices have different resources. You can connect all end devices to that one main router, and then you can have the connection data pack assigned to your router, and only use that router via RMS vpn hubs, or RMS connect.
Otherwise, in your case as you have 8 separate devices with their own network, you would need to add data packs to all of them separately, or use the main Data pool in RMS. More can be acquired by converting credits. 1 Credit - 2GB data. More info on this can be found in the link I provided in the above comment.

Arturas
Hi Arturas,
Thank you for your valuable support.
We will be setting a monitoring (10y) and a connection data pack on each device in our network.

Ernesto
