You are right, absolutely. It doesn’t make sense. I wonder if data exchanged between the client and server is different from one and another somehow.
Who knows, i’m sure Teltonika will investigate the issue and sort it.

Hi!
I did factory reset on my x50 and got 7.23.3
Speedtest still not working while it has worked when i bought the device so i do Think it is firmwares bad, but what can it be then?
A new firmware is now available fixing a number of issues, but it has failed to fix the speed test problem: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUTX50_Firmware_Downloads
yep, speedtest still malfunctions. Noticed a new feature if I’m not mistaken; integrity check
Hello,
I have the same issue since I updated my RUTX50 to RUTX_R_00.07.23.4 and now I´m running RUTX_R_00.07.23.7 and Speed Test is not working.

Greetings @Clipper87,
Our apologies for the delayed response.
We are aware of the issue affecting the Speed Test feature and are currently investigating it.
Different speed test servers use different network routes, hardware, and available bandwidth. Some servers may be geographically closer, less congested, or better connected to your ISP, while others may experience higher load or less optimal routing. As a result, speed test results can show slower speeds or a failed test.
Additionally, could you please let us know whether you have tried configuring different DNS servers on the device before running the Speed Test? If so, did the behavior remain the same?
To change the DNS settings in the device’s WebUI, navigate to Network → WAN, then select your primary WAN interface by clicking Edit. On the interface configuration page, open Advanced Settings and set the Use custom DNS servers option. You can then enter the DNS server(s) you would like to use.
We recommend testing with one of the following public DNS servers:
Google DNS: 8.8.8.8
Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1
Please let us know the results so that we can continue investigating the issue.
Best regards,
Povilas
HI,
we ar using RUTX_R_00.07.23.7 and it does not work either. Seems to do the test (stating “running”), but does not display anything after some time.
Changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 and / or 8.8.8.8 does not solve the issue. Using fw 7.24
