We use the TRB245 for sending SMS and we are not using the mobile data connection. The SIM card only have sms services activated.
The SIM card can not connect to mobile data. Is this mandatory? The TRB245 cannot connect to 2G, 3G and 4G!!!
We have canged SIM card from our smartphone and it works so, we think we need a card with SMS and Data services connected; is this true?

This is a very rare use case, so Iām not sure if it was tested on the latest firmware.
However, if your SIM does not support data, the only thing that should be needed will be to disable the mob1s1a1 and mob1s2a1 interfaces by navigating to Network ā Interfaces ā General. This should stop the modem from constantly reconnecting.

I will try to disable the mob1s1a1 and mob1s2a1.
