Set SMS login and password via an SMS command

I haven’t configured the SMS login and password, and I would like to set it now using a command. Is this possible?

Good day, Thank you for contacting Teltonika Telematics!

Please follow the steps below.

You need to send SMS from your phone SIM number to GPS device SIM number.

space space setparam 3003:login;3004:password

In command above you need to press space twice then have to type the rest of the command along with your desired login and password.

Note: Max Text length is 5 for both login and password.

Once SMS login & password is set you have to use new Login and Password to send commands to the device.

, for example: “asd 123 getgps”

Thank you for your clear answer. I tried it, but my IoT SIM card doesn’t recognize spaces at the beginning of the message. Is there another solution without spaces?

There is no option available to set SMS command without space if there is no predefined SMS login and password available.

There is one alternative available. You can try updating the required device parameters by uploading updated device configuration file using FOTA WEB. if you don’t have the FOTA details. Please contact your Sales Manager.
