Schedule sms on RUT360

Good morning everyone, sorry it’s my first post and I hope I’m not breaking any rules, I’ve read around and already solved some problems thanks to the various answers (for example, text messages that DO NOT work if you have VOLTE enabled) but now it’s getting complicated, for me, I have to send a text message at a certain time or at least 6 times a day, but I can’t find the system to do it, except by writing commands, which commands are incomprehensible to me, with the old Teltonika (RUT950) it was very simple even for those like me who were not advanced can someone give me an example, then somehow I’ll manage to modify it, thank you very much.

You can schedule it using the built in Scheduler.

Go to System → Administration → Scheduler and add a new task.

Example:

0 8,12,16,18,20,22 * * * gsmctl -S -n "+1234567890" -m "Your message text"

This sends the SMS 6 times per day at those hours.

Change the time, number and message as needed.

First, make sure the system date and time are synchronized. Go to System → Administration → Date & Time.

You can use Event Juggler to send SMS messages periodically. Navigate to Services → Event Juggler and click Add.

Enter an event name and set the Event Type to Time. Then select the hours when you want the SMS message to be sent.

Click Next, then choose Send SMS as the Action Type. Enter the message text you want to send. You can also adjust additional settings such as retry count, retry timeout, and delay, if needed.
