RUTXR1 Remote Access to WebUI (http/https) possible, although disabled

Hi,
I have a RUTXR1, FW RUTX_R_00.07.11.3.

I have disabled remote access for both http and https in System->Administration->Access Control, but I still can access the device’s Web UI from WAN.
I have tried the same with SSH, and SSH only works from WAN when remote access is enabled.
I tried several times to enable and disable remote access for http/s, but no matter what I do, I can always log in from WAN.

The only way to prevent logging in from WAN is to create a traffic rule to drop all incoming http/s traffic. But I don’t think this is how it is supposed to work?

Is there a better way to fix this?

Thank you,
Stefan

Hello,

For testing purposes, please navigate to System → Maintenance → Backup in the WebUI and download a backup archive to ensure your current configurations are saved. After downloading the backup, reset the device to factory settings as described here: Factory Reset - RUTXR1 Device Recovery Options.

Once the reset is complete, check if the issue persists and let me know. I will assist you further.

Best regards,
