RUTX50 trigger APN change over SMS

Hello everyone!

I would like to send SMS command to the modem and trigger APN “profile” switch. Profile is in quotes because there aren’t any as option.

I have two APN profiles, one is for fast low latency internet and other is for slower internet but with static IP. Same card, same number, just different APN.

Is there a way to do that. I did not install SDK yet and I hope it can be done without modifying anything - with stock firmware.

In either case any pointers will help!

If you have, for example, two profiles: default and profile2

You can change between them using Mobile Utilities. Send SMS to router:

<router's password> pr <profile name>

Passwd148* pr default
or
Passwd148* pr profile2
