# RUTX50 - SIM card message? Mobile ESM reject cause .. etc

Changing SIM cards in a dual SIM RUTX50 config with essentially the same ISP network, changing to 1 SIM produces the following alert, changing to SIM2 has no alerts. What does the following alert on SIM1 indicate?

Mobile ESM reject cause: Requested service option not subscribed

The “Requested service option not subscribed” error occurs when a user attempts to access a service not included in their mobile subscription plan or due to misconfigured network settings.

Marijus, Thanks for confirming that. I had looked right through the system several times but could not see anything that might be enabled or related, have had another option by option look since but still see nothing related.

I had only noticed this alert with upgrade to FW 07.07.3 3 (from 07.07.2) but there’s nothing to say it’s only a recent thing but National Carriers here have really been ramping up system changes especially with email authentication requiring configuration changes for systems running email. However this is on a data only SIM plan and that could mean something? The other SIM in this unit is standard is voice/data using data only (manual switching) and when this one is enabled don’t see this alert? Will have another look with FW 8
