RUTX50 Modem not recognized after Modem Firmware update failed

Hi,

my RUTX50 does not recognize the modem anymore after I performed a modem firmware update.

I followed the steps descibed here RUTX50 Device Recovery Options - Teltonika Networks Wiki with no success.

I’m now at the last step: “If conventional recovery methods do not help, you may need to send the device to warranty for repair.” - can you help me with that ? (the link at the next page is not working & I’m a consumer).

Are you encountering an issue where the WebUI displays the message “Modem unreachable”? If so, please log in to your router via CLI and execute the command lsusb. Share the output here, as it will help in determining if the modem is still recoverable.

Thank you for providing the output. Based on the results, it appears that the modem cannot be recovered. Unfortunately, the only option is to send the device for RMA.

If you purchased the device directly from us, please contact your sales manager. If it was purchased from a reseller, kindly reach out to them for assistance with the repair process.

I got from Amazon (where I bought the RUTX50) the following message:

  • Fehlende oder beschädigte Teile ersetzen

(Pls. contact the Manufacturer Teltonika for replacements).
