RUTX50 - Mobile ESM reject cause: User authentication or authorization failed

Hello,

For my RUTX50 I just purchased Vodafone.cz 5G SIM card, but it does not connect to the network. It returns error in a loop:
Mobile ESM reject cause: User authentication or authorization failed

I did update of modem firmware to latest version, no effect.
Checked with Vodafone support, they said all is OK with my SIM.

Any ideas what to check further please?

Hi,

Go to Network → WAN page and update mobile interface, try select correct APN for SIM card, also if it doesn’t work try changing PDP type to IPv4 only.

No, lemondude’s suggestion did not helped.

I have filed complaint with vodafone.cz because it seems that RUTX50 is not supported in some of their 5G service plans. I am waiting for feedback from them.

case is closed, Vodafone.cz refused to add Teltonika RUTX50 into list of approved devices and I have canceled contract with them. The only Teltonika device they support is Teltonika RUT950 with TAC code 86949205 but that does not solve my problem.
