We recently got a RUTX50 and had 3/4 days of 5G bliss… however, we started getting dropouts soon after with the predominant error: Mobile Data Disconnected…
(Smarty network/Three apn… which is dialled in manually) external antenna… tried various fixes suggested here… we managed to get online for around six hours last night which was a recent record…

To start off, make sure you are running the latest device and the internal modem firmware version. Currently, the latest RutOS version is RUTX_R_00.07.04.5, and the latest modem firmware is RG501QEUAAR12A08M4G_04.200.04.200.
If you are already running the latest version, I will ask you to wait for the issue to replicate, navigate to System → Administration → Troubleshoot, open the System Logs and copy the last logs around a minute before the loss of connection. This may help me identify the issue. Make sure to remove any sensitive information.
Finally, I’ll ask you to take a screenshot of the Status → Network → Mobile page. Make sure to hide IMEI, IMSI and ICCID.

I can confirm the firmware is up to date… and I will get those logs for you shortly
It seems like for some reason the modem stops responding and then after some time re-establishes the connection. This could either be a software, or hardware issue.
