RUTX50 Help SIM Card

Hallo an euch,

I have the RUTX 50 with the latest firmware.
Unfortunately, Deutsche Telekom has knowd that I use my second SIM card in a router. What is not allowed according to terms of terms.

It was well now many years until now.

Can you so set the router So that Telekom doesn’t see that it’s a router?

Hello,

Unfortunately, it is not possible to hide the IMEI of your router from your provider, which is used to determine the equipment manufacturer.

We appreciate your understanding.

Best regards,

Can you share a link where it says that this is not allowed please?
I’d be wondering…

Hi…

Google it…

" Mobile operators use a device’s IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number to identify and manage devices on their networks. The IMEI number is also used to help track down and secure lost or stolen phones.

Why mobile operators need the IMEI number?

  • Identify devices

The IMEI number is a unique identifier for each device, which helps mobile operators manage their networks.

  • Authenticate devices

The IMEI number helps mobile operators ensure that devices are genuine and compatible with their networks.

  • Track lost or stolen devices

The IMEI number can be used to block a stolen device from accessing the network, making it difficult for thieves to sell or use.

  • Verify eligibility for services

The IMEI number can be used to verify a device’s eligibility for repairs, software updates, or warranty claims. "

"
A mobile device’s International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number is stored in several places, including the device’s settings, on the device itself, and on the box it came in
