we are running RUTX50 in a Multiwan environment. The router does not detect a connection down by ping detection, only by link down. This is a problem as our physical WAN port is connected to a switch (Trunked network). Here the link is always up, but the connection is down. The failover never happens. We are running RUTX_R_00.07.23.7. I have tested any combination of port flushing and other setting in the failover detection setting of the interface.
So far it only works when the link is down (cable unplugged). Is this a bug? Or do I misunderstand something?
