RUTX11 multi wifi with hidden SSIDs

Hi, I am not able to get a RUTX11 to connect to a hidden SSID via the multi wifi (multi ap) interface. As soon as i unhide the SSID, the RUTX11 connects fine.

Anyone know how to resolve this?
(I’ve pasted my settings below and blanked out the confidential fields)

My multi_wifi settings:
multi_wifi.general=multi_wifi
multi_wifi.general.scan_time=‘60’
multi_wifi.general.enabled=‘1’
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[0]=wifi-iface
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[0].priority=‘1’
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[0].enabled=‘1’
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[0].ssid=
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[0].key=
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[0].encryption=
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[1]=wifi-iface
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[1].priority=‘2’
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[1].enabled=‘1’
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[1].ssid=
multi_wifi.@wifi-iface[1].key=

My wireless settings, which seem to update automatically upon successful connection to one of the SSIDs:
wireless.1=wifi-iface
wireless.1.device=‘radio1’
wireless.1.multiple=‘1’
wireless.1.wifi_id=‘wifi2’
wireless.1.mode=‘sta’
wireless.1.network=
wireless.1.key=
wireless.1.disabled=‘0’
wireless.1.ssid=
wireless.1.bssid=
wireless.1.encryption=

Hello,

The multi-wifi feature utilizes a wifi scanner to identify available APs. Since the AP has its SSID hidden, the device does not detect it and thus, does not try to connect. In essence, for the multi-wifi function to operate effectively, the SSID must be detectable.

If your intention is to establish a connection with an AP that has a hidden SSID, the appropriate approach is to bypass the multi-wifi feature entirely. Instead, use a single WiFi client instance.

Kind Regards,
