RUTX11 and Ring camera

Afternoon all

So i have been issues connecting a Ring camera to my router. I have upgraded f/w and everything else I could think of. Reached out to Maxview who I bought the kit off as a RoamX set up. I spent 2 days trying various things and they sorted my issue in minutes. I will post a screenshot of the fix but my camera connected instantly and is working perfectly.

Hi,

Just to explain what happened, is that it’s very highly likely that the Ring camera does not support data transmission over IPv6 and in the IPv4/IPv6 mode the router caught the IPv6 IP from the operator and the rest is history

Im not clued up on the black art of router settings. So was just happy its working again.
