RUTX10 Port forward to custom wireguard internal ip

I’m running wireguard server on RUTX10 and trying to setup port forward to one of the connected wireguard client.

Internet — RUTX10 — wireguard client. The connection is working (ping) from RUTX10 to the client. Port forward to lan clients is working.

When trying to setup port forward there is only lan/wan internal ip addresses at “Internal IP address”. Wireguard ip’s is not in the list. How do I port forward to wireguard or other custom ip?

I found a workaround: configure a static lease (Interfaces, Static Leases) for the wireguard client ip. Now the wireguard client ip is in the internal ip address at port forwarding.

Question still remains if this could be done without the workaround.
