I have RUT976 and we try to connect the 5G gNB SA but no chance. With the same sim card we are able to connect in the same gNB with the Mobile. But when i reinsert the SIM in the RUT stay disconnected
Is the network regular 5G SA? Or is it specifically RedCap (3GPP release 17+)?
What BW are you using? Remember that RedCap tops out at 20MHz.
Do you see any network rejection codes in the WebUI when registering onto the network? Maybe any logs from the network side?
yes 5G SA with n78 Band and i is used BW 100 and 60 but no connection. Whats about 20 MHz ? really supports only 20MHz ?

Yes, that is correct. The modem in the device is the Quectel RG255C-GL, which supports up to 20 MHz bandwidth. That is why the connection is not working.

It’s not just the modem - it’s 3GPP specification that limits RedCap to 20MHz max, as these devices are intended to replace Cat 4 LTE devices. They’re not meant for throughput.
