RUT956 does not connects to the internet using SIM card

I just brought the RUT956 router. At first I tried to do the complete setup, connected the router with my laptop using ethernet cable, inserted the SIM Card in it, connected the antennas and it was working just fine.
Then it asked for a firmware update and after the update, I haven’t been able to connect to the internet again.

Have you tried to setup APN? Also, please try to change PDP type in mobile interface’s configuration to IPv4 only.

I have currently set the APN to Auto. And I switched the PDP type to IPv4 and then did a reboot, still no help.

The message… " Mobile Network Rejection " is strange…

Yes, I have tried that multiple times.

I also tried to install the earlier patches on which the internet worked before, but that isn’t helping now.

But… Let me ask… Your country have some rules like black list device?
or… some SIM CARD plan optional for network device?

Regarding your question, I don’t believe my country has any blacklist rules affecting this device. Also, the SIM card was working fine before the update, and it’s not restricted to mobile devices only.

Same, in the USA.

Same SIM is in use now as before?

Yes, everything is exactly the same. I used the same SIM Card to update the firmware and have been facing this issue since then.

For me this looks like SIM plan is reached or module itself is blocked in network for some reasons, maybe during update module deattached from the network and with new attach some block was applied. Maybe you should try to reach to your operator and ask about more details regarding this?

To cross check, I just tried using the SIM in my phone and it is working just fine. Is it still possible that it could be blocked?

Yes… Sorry. but… Can be also an issue at the RUT.
