RUT955 WiFi repeater/bridge possibility?

If your goal is to Layer 2 bridge your RUT955 LAN with an external wireless network (such as a free outdoor AP), you should use the wireless Relay(d) feature. More detailed guidance on setting up Relay(d) can be found here:

If you instead want to extend or mesh your internal wireless network with an existing free Wi-Fi AP, a wireless mesh setup would be the right solution. Further information and configuration steps are available here:

Finally, if your requirement is simply to have an additional wireless WAN source (hotspot / free WiFi) alongside your primary 4G/LTE mobile WAN connection, you can configure the router to connect wirelessly (on 2.4 GHz) to the available AP and continue using the router’s own SSID for your internal devices.
