RUT955 in polyester low voltage enclosure

Hello,

We need to use a RUT955 in a polyester low voltage enclosure, and we would like to know if the antennas’ functionalities wouldn’t be impacted in that environment. The router would be mounted on a DIN rail.

Hello,

While polyester should block signal less than metal, when operating in such environments, it’s always recommended to use antennas like these:

And mount them outside of the box to avoid the electrical interference inside, as well as signal dampening.
As for mounting on a DIN rail, we also have a few options:
