RUT955 HTTP server firmware update

Hi, the RUT955 was factory reset and the default IP 192.168.1.1 displays a white screen. I then put the router into bootloader mode and successfully uploaded to RUT9_R_00.07.06.13_WEBUI.bin firmware version.

The screen changed to update in progress and stated that the upload was successful.

But now the routers LEDs continue to flash and when i enter the default IP it goes to bootloader mode. Am I missing some last step to get out of bootloader mode?

edit: I uploaded the firmware again and it was successful again then watched the LEDs. They looked like they were following a reset then all switched to continuously flash as they do when in bootloader mode.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out.

The behavior of Bootloader’s menu you’re describing is not correct. After uploading the firmware via the bootloader menu and starting the upgrading process the LEDs should not continuously blink, and the router should exit bootloader mode. Based on your description, this issue is most likely related to a flash storage fault.

As I understand, you are unable to access the router’s WebUI and it wouldn’t be possible to download a troubleshooting file? In this case, the only solution would be to proceed with an RMA procedure.
