RUT955 Bridge Mode Without Authentication – Connection Not Stable

Hi all,

I’m working with a Teltonika RUT955 (7V**) router (RUT9XX_R_00.06.09.5). Everything works fine in NAT and Passthrough mode, with authentication as required. Also, Bridge Mode with authentication functions as expected.

However, I now require Bridge Mode without authentication, because the device behind the router needs to handle authentication itself. When I configure the RUT955 this way (“Bridge” mode plus authentication type set to NONE), the router won’t maintain a reliable connection. Instead, it constantly toggles between these states:

Operator State: Searching and Connection Type: NOSERVICE

Operator State: Searching and Connection Type: 4G LTE

Has anyone managed to run the RUT955 in bridge mode without authentication, so another device manages the connection? Are there tweaks or firmware options I might be missing? Or could this be a limitation with my network provider?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
