RUT951 not sending SMS any more

Hello,

A few months back my RUT951 stopped sending SMS messages. The only diagnostic message I have been able to find is:

Hello,

Could you please specify which firmware version your RUT951 is running? If it is not the latest (7.17.1), please download it from our wiki here: RUT951 Firmware Downloads - Teltonika Networks Wiki and update your device.

Additionally, please let me know the internal modem firmware version (found in System → Firmware → Update firmware in WebUI).

Lastly, ensure that your SIM card has an active plan that allows sending SMS.

The firmware is:

Yes, the SIM has SMS plan and phone calls included. The router was successfully sending SMSs a few months back.

I performed yesterday also a factory default reset with no success.

I will attempt with a different SIM card over this weekend.
