Hello:
We have an RUT950 unit running:
FW version: RUT9XX_R_00.06.08.6
This unit will not reboot. We have issued a reboot command from the ssh console, used the reboot button from the WebUI, and sent a ‘reboot’ command via SMS but none work. But, all reboot requests show up in the log:
root@CORS438:~# logread | grep -i reboot
Mon Aug 19 08:29:56 2024 user.info Messaged[29126]: Start from new event “Reboot” “Request from Web UI”
Mon Aug 19 08:31:22 2024 user.info Messaged[491]: Start from new event “Reboot” “Request from SSH”
And the rrouter just keeps running. SSH doesn’t even disconnect.
Has anyone come across this before?
Is there anyway to “force” the router to restart?
Cheers,
John
