RUT950 --- LTE not connected / not stable

Hello,

Unfortunately I am very frustrated at the moment because I now have the second router with the same error.

I bought a second-hand vehicle in which an RUT950 is installed. After a factory reset, I installed the latest firmware and inserted the new SIM card (tested in a mobile phone).

No connection was established for about an hour. Then, however, when playing with the APN, it worked for a minute.

Status now:
Connection is established after a few minutes, then persists for 2-6 minutes and then drops out. LEDs go out and apparently the interface is restarted.

All stable firmware versions have been tested, no improvement.

And then make sure you’re on IPv4 only and Auto APN

Please try suggestion from @TeWe. On the hand, module firmware is very old and can cause some issues here.

Now, it is even more unstable.

LED:

  1. flash green/red → 5-10 sec
  2. flash green and indicate reception (4 LED) → 15-40 sec
  3. goto 1.

How can I upgrade module firmware. Cant find any information for separate handle.

Can you reset one more time to factory defaults before going anywhere else?
After factory reset, IPv4 and Auto APN again.

Status page indicated from time to time “internal modem is unreachable”

Update:

I waited for about 30 minutes in the state descripted befor.

flashed red/green > green > crash > flash red/green and so on…

But at some point connection was established = online

Status page indicates Update for modem available

I did the update - since then it works reliable.
