hey! recently i had a lot of problems to aces internet with a belgian sim card in a rut950router, yesterday i managed to aces the internet for about two hours and - out of nothing - suddenly i lost all connection and could never reconnect.
now i would like to solve this, at last… i’m trying to connect since two months…
i wonder if the problem is with having a belgian sim card or what else could it be…
Please ensure your device is operating on the latest RutOS firmware 7.06.16. It can be downloaded here: RUT950 Firmware Downloads.
Could you please let me know the internal modem firmware version installed on your RUT950? You can check this in the System → Firmware → Update firmware page in the WebUI.
Please confirm if both mobile antennas are connected correctly at a 90-degree angle.
Additionally, please provide a screenshot from the Status → Network → Mobile page.
do you have any idea how long this would take. it is since 4months that i’m trying, i can not contact my isp, they just give me another sim card at their service center and then its the same problem. sometimes i have internet acces for 10min but that is just once every month or so, i suppose the problem is at their side… still i wonder what else can i do?
Could you kindly confirm if you received the email from us yesterday with the requested necessary information? Please ensure to check your inbox, as well as your spam/junk folders, in case it was filtered.
Additionally, could you check if the mobile antennas on your RUT950 are properly screwed in? Also, please ensure that the correct ISP given APN and authentication type is selected in the mobile interface settings by navigating to Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 configuration window:
Could you please provide a full screenshot of Status → Network and logs in .txt format from System → Maintenance → Troubleshoot page System log → Show section. Make sure that sensitive information from logs (public IPs, MACs, etc.) is hidden.
Have you checked if this SIM card connects to the ISP when inserted into your phone?
Additionally, could you try performing an operator network scan to check which operators are available at the moment? You can do this by navigating to Network → Mobile → Network operators (advanced WebUI mode required) and selecting Manual operator selection mode.
Lastly, which internal modem firmware version does your RUT950 have? This can be checked in Status → System page.
hey,
i have no clue how but now it is working…
in the past this happened before, that it worked for half an hour and then not.
i would really like to understand more of it and will still try to sent the logs today
thank you for your support so far!
Based on the provided screenshots, the signal strength values (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR) indicate no signal or very poor quality, which explains the constant mobile connection dropouts.
