RUT901 wifi notfound and can not access webUI

I have a RUT901 device.

rut901 device when first powered up, it has some problems.

  1. wifi device does not appear or is not detected.

  2. the device cannot connect to the laptop using a lan cable. on the laptop it is not detected to connect with the device at all.

I have done a factory reset using the reset button by pressing and holding it for 12 seconds. but nothing happened

what do I need to do ??

Greetings,

wifi device does not appear or is not detected.

Just to confirm, the standard (default) Wi-Fi network doesn’t appear when doing a Wi-Fi scan?

the device cannot connect to the laptop using a lan cable. on the laptop it is not detected to connect with the device at all.

Does the LAN port of the RUT901 light up when you connect the Ethernet cable to it? Are you able to ping 192.168.1.1 via the Command Prompt of the laptop whilst the RUT901 is connected to it?

Finally, you could try doing a Bootloader reset to see if that resolves the issue: Bootloader menu - Teltonika Networks Wiki

Best regards,
M.

yes, wifi is not showing up at all

this doesn’t work at all

I did the reset button but nothing happened

Hello,

The reset button, as you mention, either restarts the device, or resets it to factory default settings, depending on how long you press it. The bootloader process will perform a hard-reset on the device, which helps with a lot of issues, especially ones like yours. I would strongly suggest following the process and seeing the results afterward.

This method boatloader has been done, but there is no response
this is picture now condition device

Hello,

The picture doesn’t really say much - are the LEDs flashing rapidly, or are they stationary? After doing the bootloader process, were you not redirected to the login page of the device after the process was finished? Could you explain the situation of the after-process?

Led stationary condition.
after doing the bootloader process there is no response or any situation. the condition is just like in the picture. all LAN LEDs and WAN LEDs are steady. Mobile network type LED is steady green and red.

Sounds like the device is stuck, if you haven’t already, could you try power cycling it by unplugging the power supply cable from the device and plugging it back in?

If the situation stays the same, could you possibly try the bootloader process one more time? If the situation doesn’t change after the repeated bootloader process, then I’m afraid there’s something from the hardware-side of things that is wrong with the device, and it will require repairs, for which you should probably reach out to the distributor/shop that you’ve purchased the device from.

Matas.
