All the other commands seem to work except the actual lockin command:
gsmctl -A 'AT+QNWLOCK="common/lte",2,<EARFCN>,<PCI>'
Just gettin +CME ERROR: operation not supported
When using gsmctl -A 'AT+QNWLOCK=“common/lte”
+CME ERROR: operation not supported
But when using gsmctl -D -A ‘AT+QNWLOCK=“lte”’
GSMCTL modem[0]: Debug mode enabled
GSMCTL Modem id: 0
GSMCTL modem[0]: Calling LGSM EXEC to execute AT command
+QNWLOCK: “lte”,1,6400,120
Thank you for your post! We are currently analyzing and testing the issue. Once we have more insights, we will get back to you with a response as soon as possible.
gsmctl commands can indeed be used on all RutOS routers. However, when it comes specifically to cell-locking commands, I would like to kindly remind you that these are not official, are not recommended for use, and are not supported on all of our routers.
Well this is a partial lie as you are not specifing that you can’t use all the commands. Regardless, if you offer them and not specify that all of them don’t work on specific models, is just bad (even if they are not officially supported). Please correct your wiki.
Specifically on the cell-locking instructions page, it is stated that this feature will not work on all devices, and that the instructions are not official and not recommended for use. This also means that using gsmctl commands with cell-locking options may not work on some devices.
