RUT901 as OpenVPN client. Access to LAN

Hello,

I am having trouble accessing the LAN network behind an OpenVPN client. My OpenVPN server is running on a VPS, and two clients are connected: a RUT901 router and a desktop computer.

When I connect to the VPN from my desktop, I can reach the RUT901 (172.27.240.22), but I cannot ping a device in the LAN behind the router (192.168.10.10). After installing tcpdump, I can see ICMP traffic to 172.27.240.22 but not to 192.168.10.1 (the RUT901 LAN address).

I have attached screenshots of my configuration.

Where am I making a mistake?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,

Could you confirm whether the necessary route to the client’s 192.168.10.0/24 LAN network has been added in the OpenVPN server settings?

If the route is already in place, try enabling masquerading on the LAN zone (LAN → WAN, OpenVPN) to see if that makes any difference.

Additionally, I recommend checking the OpenVPN wiki example’s client to client communication configuration part here: https://wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/OpenVPN_configuration_examples#Client_to_Client

I hope this helps! If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

Best regards,

Thank you for your replay.
enabling masquerading on the LAN zone doesn’t make any difference.
I use config file genereted by openvpn server for Teltonika user.

I need try manual configuration from wiki.
