The first step I recommend is upgrading the device’s RutOS firmware to the latest RUT2M_R_00.07.12.3 release (if feasible, without selecting “Keep Settings”).
Additionally, based on your description, the issue might be related to the modem’s SIM card connectors. It’s possible that the SIM card pins are not making proper contact with the modem’s connectors. Could you try lifting the SIM card slightly by placing a small piece of material (e.g., paper or tape) inside the adapter to see if this helps the modem detect the SIM?
Hello,
I upgraded the firmware and put one layer of electrical isulation tape on the backside of the nano sim adapter. The issue still exists and the two 3G/4G LEDs are still blinking every second
Does your SIM card require a PIN code? If so, have you inserted it?
If the issue still persists, you could try performing a factory reset (if haven’t already) and hard rebooting the device by unplugging and plugging the power cable back in.
If nothing would help, please consider reaching out to your reseller or sales manager regarding the RMA process.
Hello,
no problem. Thank you very much for the solutions to try and the overall, but I do have to send the device back as nothing has worked out for me.
