RUT241 won't boot

Refer to previous issue no. 14284. Router replaced. Setup went well and rms hub established and could communicate with it. Suddenly hub stopped working and nothing I could do would get it to go again. Did a factory reset and after the reset when the login was activated got the message “ invalid username or password” Went into bootloader mode and installed firmware version 7-04 and error message became “unit not reachable” Downloaded firmware 7-16.03 with same results multiple times. Last time error message reverted to “invalid username or password.

Hello,

Could you please clarify a few points:

1. Did you perform a factory reset on the RUT241 because the VPN hub in RMS stopped working? Was the router also unreachable or experiencing any other issues, or was the problem only with the hub?

2. Regarding your statement:

After the factory reset, did you try to log in to the router’s WebUI and receive an “invalid username or password” error, or were you attempting to add it to RMS and saw a credentials error?

3. If you update your RUT241 via the bootloader menu to version 7.17.1, will you still be able to reach the device and log in? If not, please provide more details on the errors you encounter and where they appear. It would be helpful if you could provide screenshots as well.
