RUT241 unable to route to LAN devices through RMS

Hi there,

I’ve been having issues with trying to forward the VPN connection from RMS. I can connect to the RUT241 itself, but not anything behind it. Through ssh and the web server of the RUT241 I can ping the devices without issue.

So far I’ve followed the wiki and added the openvpn config to the destination zone

I’ve tried both 255.255.255.0 and 255.255.255.255 (with ip pointing to the right device)

On a separate note, the German servers seem to hang on TLS key negotiation. Bahrain seems to work fine however. I’m located in The Netherlands, so I doubt it has anything to do with latency.

Firstly, could you enable masquerading on the LAN zone under the firewall zone settings and check whether it provides a positive result (don’t forget to save & apply changes)?

That seems to have worked. Quite strange that something crucial like that isn’t mentioned in the wiki.
