RUT241 - Sim Card not inserted

Good afternoon

I have multiple RUT241 in use remotly. Most of them run fine, though a few return this information in the log file:

37 2024-10-26 00:00:17 SIM status SIM state changed to not inserted (internal modem)

35 2024-10-20 00:00:11 SIM status SIM state changed to not inserted (internal modem)
34 2024-10-18 00:00:10 SIM status SIM state changed to not inserted (internal modem)
33 2024-10-13 23:07:41 SIM status SIM state changed to not inserted (internal modem)
32 2024-10-10 10:13:07 SIM status SIM state changed to not inserted (internal modem)
31 2024-10-07 00:00:11 SIM status SIM state changed to not inserted (internal modem)

In this specific case, the RUT241 was lost for over a month, but did reconnect himself without me touching it. Can it be, that the Sim status is echoing the correct problem to the log file?

Hello,

If you can physically access your RUT241, I recommend ensuring that the SIM card is properly inserted. Try removing and reinserting the SIM tray of the slot to make sure the SIM is aligned correctly inside the router.

Additionally, you can log in to the router via the CLI (Command Line Interface guide) and execute the command ubus call mobifd reload to reinitialize SIM detection. Alternatively, you can do this through the WebUI by navigating to Status → Network → Mobile and pressing the restart connection button at the bottom right.
