RUT241 modem unreachable

Hi,
I lost communication with a RUT241 device which displays “internal modem unreachable”. During troubleshooting (ref: Article 11548) and upgrade to 07.13.1) I receive the following:

root@myhost:~# modem_updater -g
Command failed: Not found
Modem List:
Command failed: Not found

root@myhost:~# lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0001

I am afraid of what I’ m going to listen, but I should ask nevertheless: is there any hope with this device?

Hello,

Unfortunately, based on the output, it appears that the modem is not recoverable. The only available option is to send the device for repair through the RMA process. Please contact your reseller for further assistance and details.
