RUT241 Login Loop

Hi There: I have a remote RUT241 that has stopped working for GUI login, it renders the login page when entering a correct username and password it just returns to the login screen (if incorect password it response as such). It had been working previously . Logging in via SSH works ok. I have rebooted via SSH but the problem remains Firmware RUT2M_R_00.07.10.4. It is remote and cannot be readily accessed for a cold powercycle or replacement. Any ideas how to resolve ? Many thanks

Greetings,

Apologies for the delayed response.

Could you please clarify how are you accessing the device? Are you connecting via VPN (and if so, which VPN protocol are you using), RMS or a public IP?

Have you tried accessing the WebUI using a different browser or an incognito/private window?

Did you make any configuration changes before the issue started occurring?

Please try restarting the web service by running the following command in the CLI:
/etc/init.d/uhttpd restart

Additionally, could you provide the output of this command:
df -h

You can also run the following command in the CLI:
logread -f
Then attempt to log in through the WebUI and check what logs appear. Do you see a message stating User “admin” successfully authenticated on HTTPS?

Best Regards,
Justinas
