RUT241 communication error

Hello. We use TELTONIKA as a communication device for the IoT service we are developing.
Previously, we had been using RUT240 equipment, but recently, RUT241 equipment arrived.
I used the same SIM as before and performed the same setup, but communication was not possible and the message “Mobile ESM reject cause: Request rejected by Serving GW or PDN GW” was displayed at the top of the settings screen.
I tried comparing the settings of other parts with RUT240, but the settings and UI have changed in detail and I don’t understand them well.
I would like to be able to communicate with RUT241, but what should I do?

To assist with the issue you’re encountering on the RUT241, could you please confirm the following:

1. Is the correct APN set up under Network → WAN → Mobile interface → Edit settings? Try selecting it manually by disabling Auto APN option:
   

   

2. If your SIM card requires an authentication type (e.g., PAP/CHAP) or PIN code (Network → Mobile), please ensure these are correctly configured.

3. Try changing the PDP Type to IPv4 only, as some network operators may not support IPv6 or IPv4/IPv6 settings.

Additionally, could you provide a screenshot of the Status → Network page? This will help ti better understand the current network status and troubleshoot the issue further.

In conclusion, the firmware was the problem. I updated to the latest version and the error was resolved.
