RUT240 RelayD failing when WiFi is in Client Fast Roam mode

We have a RUT240 configured as a WiFi client. It has Fast roaming enabled to allow it to move between AP’s seamlessly.
This part works absolutely fine.

We also have the same RUT240 configured with RelayD for the LAN devices to reach another network.
This part also works absolutely fine.

However, the two in conjunction don’t work together.
When the RUT240 is switched on, it connects to an AP, and the RelayD tunnel is operating correctly.
When the RUT240 is moved and roams onto another AP, it connects up fine in itself, but the RelayD tunnel appears to not come back up. If we turn the RelayD off and on again, then the tunnel comes back up.

Is this something we are doing wrong is there a change needed to the firmware to resolve this?
Thank you!

Hi apl,

Can you provide a topology (with sample IP/subnets) in your solution so that I might be able to recreate it locally?

Let me know any updates.

Hi Janmiguel,

I found the issue in the end, the WAN interface for the WiFi needed to have the force link enabled when fast roaming with RelayD configured.

Thanks

Hi,

Glad to hear that. If anything comes up, let us know.
