RUT240 reboots when switch failover

Hi,

RUT240 with 00.07.05 fw, the problem is that when wan is no more available and then failover switch to mobile, the router reboots even if mobile has connected status. This happens too from mobile->wan
Can you help please?

Apologies for a late reply.

What configurations do you have on your device? Perhaps you have a ping-reboot configured on the device?

Would it b feasible for you to reset the device to its factory defaults and then reconfigure it?

Hi,

no ping reboot active. The router has updated fw and new fresh configuration (default reset).
Any ideas??

Hello,

I am unable to replicate this. Hence, would it be possible for you to share your configurations? What do you have configured on the device?

Are you sure it happens on the failover? How do you check if the device reboots?

Does it reboot immediately? Could you please share some of the system logs from System → Maintenance → Troubleshoot → Show system logs? Make sure you simulate failover by, for example, turning off the WAN interface.
