Hello,

Since you have received an IP address from your carrier, the issue could be one of the following:

  • No credit coverage - make sure the SIM works well in a mobile phone or any other device;
  • Missing/incorrect DNS server used - navigate to Network → Interfaces → General, edit the mob1s1a1 interface, and under Advanced settings tab, you will find a field to use Custom DNS servers. Try setting them to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1.
  • Mobile connection not established/signal issues - please post a screenshot of the Status → Network → Mobile page. Make sure to blur our any identifying information.

This will give me a better idea of what the issue could be.

Best regards,

Daumantas thanks for your fast reply. with WAN connection the clients wont also get internet

if i switch in failover settings mob1s1a1 as first, RMS connection works, but no client internet
if i switch in failover settings to WAN as first, RMS works not, and clients no internet

WAN connection is working with other switches or routers. so must be a RUT240 issue

It’s hard to say what could be causing the issue without having any more information. However, if you do not have a lot of configuration on the router, I’d simply recommend updating the device to the latest firmware without keeping the settings. This will perform a factory reset and resolve any issues related to the configuration.

Best regards,
