i want to get notified via email when some of my RUT240 switch to sim card connection because they have lost ethernet/wifi connection. I can’t find the relevant option in RMS options. Is this possible?

It seems that you are looking to use RMS Alerts & Automations.
If you want to check if the device uses mobile as the connection type, you can use ‘Device connection type == mobile’ as the ‘IF condition’. Also, when configuring alerts, I would suggest setting a cooldown so the condition is not checked too often after it was already triggered.
You can see if the condition is triggered from the Alerts & Automations page in RMS. The Action count will increase if the condition was triggered.
