Rut200 with config name changed

Hi all,

We have a problem with a router rut200, we changed the name of the configuration, and from that point we are not able to access through the WAN port, we can think that the router is not getting the config file due the change we made, but here is the point: the router is still answering to ping, so in some way, the config is still working. Our question is about to restore the access to the router using the wan port in order to resolve the problem online.

Could you please provide more information about the issue you’re experiencing? Specifically:

  • What configuration name have you changed?
  • How did you change it? Was it via WebUI, SSH, or another method?
  • Are you unable to access the WebUI, SSH, or both?

Additionally, if I understood correctly, your router is in a remote location. If your RUT200 is registered in RMS, you should be able to access it remotely via WebUI and SSH.
