RUT200 VPN from same IP is not available for more than 1 user

Hi,

RUT 200 has been configured for VPN L2TP over IPSec with a few diffrent users.

If i am connecting to the site and other user is connecting to the same site from diffrent locations (different IPs) the VPN is working fine. I mean we both can connect ant to work in the VPN.

If two users (with different L2PT accounts) are connecting at the same time from the same IP example from office, the VPN is allowing to connect for one only. It is common case with most routers, but Teltonika support line is saying it should work.

The question is - who is right? My real experience on the site? Or we missed something and it should be done / corrected?

As i mentioned, from different IP a few users can connect without any issues, but the problem comes if the users are using / sharing the same IP.

The answer from Teltonika is - it can’t work. Teltonika is using an architecture to accept a one user from same IP only for the L2TP over IPSec.

As the question has already been answered through other channels - that our L2TP over IPSec can only allow 1 connection for a single IP at a time- we do not have anything else we could add here.
