We are a company that has been using your products for more ten years and have recently noticed an unusual behavior with the RUT 200 routers. We use them to connect electric vehicle chargers to a platform. There isn’t much configuration to change; we only need to enter an APN and nothing more.
The problem is that, without any pattern, depending on the Ethernet category used (all of them have been verified and tested), in the Recent Network Events log we see that the Port link state of LAN1 changes to UP and then, a few seconds later, to DOWN. This gets in a loop and sometimes after a few minutes(~10 min), it stays fixed on UP and working fine without changing anything. Some other times not.
When it doesn’t stay in UP constantly we start testing with other Ethernet Categories of cable or we update the router to the lastest firmware. Sometimes doing this the problem is fixed but some others not.
We don’t find any particular pattern to resolve the problem and we would like some reply to that. Do you need any logs? Configurations…?
Ethernet Categories tried: 6, 6a, 7 and 8.
All this types of Ethernets at some point in those RUT 200 worked properly (since the day of installation).
