RUT X11 timed run/standby

Hi , I run 3 RUT X11 and I would like to shut them down or in standby and restart them again using timetable, e.g.: on and running every day 0600 am until 2259, then off from 2300 until 0559 am. Is that possible?

reason for that is saving power as one is operated by a 12V battery/solar system

Thanks and greetings

Tom

Hello,

Unfortunately, the devices can only be powered off by disconnecting the power cable.

Best regards,

thanks for you answer.

would it help if I turn off the wifi when not needed to save energy? could I schedule that?

Tom

Greetings Tom,

Thank you for your question.

Disabling the wireless interface may slightly reduce power consumption, and this action can be automated using crontabs. A crontab is a list of scheduled commands that allows scripts or tasks to run automatically at specified time intervals.

For more information about setting up crontabs, please refer to the following article:

If you have any further questions or need assistance with the configuration, please let me know.

Kind regards,
V.
