I have three RUT-956s, which will need to be monitored by RMS…
I have two that are connected to RMS using the standard 30 days from initial setup with RMS. I have bought credits on my RMS account. Will these automatically transfer to the RUTS when their RMS period expires?
Unfortunately, the third unit has expired, and there doesn’t appear to be any mechanism to enable reconnection to RMS.
Can you advise?
Many thanks, Neil Loveridge
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out.
RMS service subscription will automatically renew for your units if there are sufficient credits in your account and Auto Extend is enabled for them in:
Administration → Companies → View company details

Regarding your third unit, since its RMS service has expired, please check whether Auto Extend is enabled for it. If you do not have WebUI access to the device, you can try sending the following SMS commands to the router:
<admin password> rms_off
<admin password> rms_on
<admin password> rms_connect
Alternatively, these actions can be done through device WebUI navigated to Services → Cloud Solutions → RMS by disabling and enabling connection type.
If the issue still persists, you may need to re-register the device in RMS.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
