I am using an RUTX50 with a Vodafone Ultra SIM. The main SIM is in a mobile phone. I have noticed that when I call the mobile phone, the internet connection of the RUTX50 sometimes drops and then comes back after a few seconds.
The “Incoming calls” setting is set to “ignore.” Turning VoLTE “off“ or “Auto“ makes no difference.
In the video from second 20 onward, I made a call to the number, and you can see that the LTE B20 and 5G N3 bands are no longer visualized. In this case the internet connection was still available but sometime it drops.
Could you try setting the VoLTE option to “On”? When making or receiving a call on a mobile data network, it’s common for the internet connection to temporarily disconnect. This occurs because of how mobile networks prioritize voice and data traffic, especially on networks without simultaneous voice and data capabilities.

I just don’t understand why the internet connection is temporarily interrupted. I use two SIM cards with the same phone number, one in the RUTX and one in the phone.
The RUTX is configured not to accept calls but to be used for a data connection.
Hello, the main reason, as Martynas said - VoLTE must be turned off if you dom’t wanna lose data connection while in the call. There is no difference what action for call is configured - it processed under the router, so in every action call is reaching the module and module cannot process data connection and call without VoLTE - it jumps back to 3G services while call is processed. That’s how call and data connection works without VoLTE.
