RTU 241 lost conneccion after undesired black out

I use a 241 with a mobil Sim card. After a unespected black out is not able to provide internect collecion.

The sim card is working on other devices, and when inserted in the 241 the device reconize the sim, provide connection to vodafone, provide an Ip adress, reconize the network type. When looking ath the data trasmission sheet it show excellent RSSI, Carrier aggregation inactive. In Bans RSRP excellent, SPRQ fair to poor, as SINR.

No internet in the wifi or in lan. The router is in the same place and 4g signal is strong. Pin si correct. Data on sim are activated

There is any configuration i miss? or is the device broke?

Many thanks for the help

Hello,

Firstly, to clarify:

  1. Was the issue with no internet access for LAN or Wi-Fi hosts already present before, or did it only start after the unexpected “blackout” outage?

  2. Could you please check whether the router itself can reach the internet by using the Diagnostics tool (System → Maintenance → Troubleshoot → Diagnostics tab) and sending pings to 8.8.8.8?

  3. If you haven’t already, try setting the APN for Vodafone ES manually under Network → WAN → mob1s1a1 settings and change the PDP type to IPv4 only.

Additional steps to consider:

  1. Make sure the device firmware is updated to the latest stable release (7.16.6).
  2. If the issue persists, please provide the system logs (System → Maintenance → Troubleshoot, System logs section).

Just to confirm, by “blackout” you mean a power/electricity outage, correct?

Best regards,

Yes, black out was loss of energy. The router and the sim were working properly before the shut down. I’ll try what you suggest and let you know

Hi there. Changes as suggested were made

still no internet on the devices .

I’ve downloaded the log but the system does not allow me to upload. If you provide me a mail i can send to you.

Thanks Walter
