If I had a RUTX11 configured with two LTE connections and a WAN connection, is it possible to selectively route different LAN/Wifi clients through the various WAN connections?
ie. client1 only goes through the WAN connection
client2 only goes through LTE1 connection
client3 only goes through LTE2 connection
It is possible to split traffic via multiple interfaces. We have a configuration example available here.
You can also consider load-balancing to use multiple WAN connections simultaneously. However, there is no guarantee that the traffic from a specific client will use a specific interface. This would be more dynamic. A configuration example for load balancing is also available and can be found here.
Please keep in mind that RUTX11 has only one LTE modem and thus, only one SIM card can be active at the same time. If you want to utilize both SIM cards at the same time, then RUTX12 is the only option. RUTX12 is the only device in our portofolio (currently) that has 2 mobile modems.
