RMS RUT200 not connecting with new credit

We have an RUT200 deployed remotely and forgot about it for about 2.5 months and the credit ran out for the RMS backend.

I have refreshed the credits and assigned them to the device, I done this yesterday.

Now today I gotten the above connection attempts, I cannot however work out what this means. What are the next steps to attempt to re-establish connection to the device and RMS?

Hello,

Do you have access to the device’s WebUI? If so, please navigate to Services → Cloud Solutions → RMS and let me know what is displayed next to Connection state.

Alternatively, you can check the status via SMS by sending the following message to your RUT200:
<router_password> rms_status

Please let me know the response you receive.

Best regards,

Your RUT200’s “connection attempts” to RMS are a positive sign after refreshing credits. To re-establish the connection, first verify your SIM card’s active status and data plan, then check the device status within RMS. If remote access is available, try a remote reboot; otherwise, the most reliable step is to physically access the RUT200 to force an RMS re-registration (toggle enable/disable) and reboot it via its WebUI. If problems persist, contact Teltonika Support.

The RUT200 will be rebooted tomorrow and if required accessed on site to verify settings.

In RMS it shows the device has zero data assigned but the company has plenty left, does the data automatically get used by the device I cannot see how to allocate it.

Hello,

The Remaining Data value is displayed next to a specific device when a Data Pack is assigned to that device. For example, if you purchase and assign a 150 GB Data Pack to a device, you will see “150 GB” listed as the remaining data for that device.

If no Data Pack is assigned and device uses data from Credits, the Remaining Data field will instead show the total remaining data available for the entire company, which can be used by any device.

Regarding your issue with the RUT200 not connecting to RMS, please check the RMS status by sending the following SMS to your device:
<router_password> rms_status

Let me know what response you receive.
